THE
PROGRAM
Champlain
St-Lambert students have the unique opportunity to enroll in the
internationally recognized IB Diploma Program. Students who complete
this two-year program automatically receive the Quebec Diploma
of Collegial Studies (DEC).
The
IB is a two-year pre-university program providing students with
a broad and rigorous education in Languages and Literature, Mathematics,
Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences and the Humanities. The
IB Diploma is an excellent preparation for students intending
to pursue studies in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Biological
Sciences, Mathematics, Law, Medicine, Social Sciences and Commerce,
either at home or abroad. The comprehensive course of study for
the Diploma provides students with a well-rounded education.
The
IB Program is designed for students who are self-disciplined,
motivated and interested in an enriched and challenging CEGEP
education. IB students take all their academic courses together
and participate in off-campus cultural and scientific activities.
What
some of our students have to say about the IB Program at CHAMPLAIN
ST-LAMBERT
"The
IB is a great program that offers a wide variety of topics in
its curriculum. This encourages us to get involved in our own
education, learning and understanding the world around us."
Scott

"The
IB is a rewarding program in every way. Students know that they
are involved in a program that is not only challenging, but that
it is one of the most well-known programs in the world. The fact
that students fulfill international criteria makes us proud and
leads us to a deeper search for success."
Pascale
Laroche IB Commerce Currently attending McGill University
"The
IB is a challenging program, but it is certainly a good preparation
for university studies. With the support of the teachers and other
IB students, the program is much easier than one might believe.
I really enjoy being in the program."
