Non
Computer Problems
If
you have a complaint about another person (either a fellow student or
a faculty or staff member), you should speak directly with the person
who is involved with your concern or question and try to resolve the
issue. If you are not satisfied with the handling of your concern or
question, and the person involved is a teacher, you should next speak
with the department head. Otherwise, you should consult with your Academic
Advisor about the recourses available to you if it concerns an academic
issue. If the issue is non-academic and the person involved is a staff
member, you should then next speak to the manager of the unit involved.
If the issue is non-academic and involves another student, you should
see an advisor in Student Services or refer your problem or complaint
to the Champlain Student Association.
If
you have a complaint about a grade, see the teacher with whom you had
the course. If you are not satisfied with the response, next see the
department head for the course. If you are still not satisfied with
the response, go to the Registrar's Office to request an official mark
review.
If you notice a health or safety problem that needs to be addressed,
you should immediately inform Security at the Security Desk at main
entrance of the College.
