Approximately 75,000 books for borrowing are located in the bookstacks
on the 3rd floor.

REFERENCE COLLECTION (Library use only)

Includes encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, pamphlets, maps & atlases - located on the main floor of the Library.

PERIODICALS (Library use only)

• Over 300 active magazines & newspapers in paper, microfiche, microfilm & bound format. Consult the Periodical Holdings list or the Champlain iPAC for the exact locations of each title for the date you need.
• over 400 titles on CD-ROM.
• Over 650 titles available fulltext from online databases:
  EBSCOhost / KIOSK.

STATISTICS (Library use only)

• Paper format : Statistics Canada, time series & census data; United Nations publications & many more located in the Reference Collection.

RESERVES

Items which faculty have put on reserve related to a particular course and kept at the Circulation Counter. These may be library or personal books, articles, or sample essays. Items can be borrowed for 1-hour loan, 2-day or "library use only". This ensures that a maximum number of students will able to consult the selected items. The GREY reserve binders on the Circulation Counter list the reserves by course and faculty name.

Assistance in performing searches for academic information on the Web is provided through bookmarks on the Library internet computers & through our help file Searching the Web.
