- The Library occupies the 2nd floor and most of the 3rd floor.

- At the CIRCULATION COUNTER,
you can borrow books and request RESERVE materials.

- The COMPUTER CATALOG provides
access to the books, periodicals, audio & videocassettes,
films, slides, government documents and pamphlets in our extensive
collection.
- In the background are the Reference bookstacks.

- REFERENCE help is available
for individual projects and for assistance in using CD-ROM and
Internet workstation
- Students are introduced to the Library facilities & resources
in Library Orientation classes.

- INTERNET workstations in the
Library are available for research purposes. No password is required.
- Access to fulltext periodicals online is provided by EBSCOhost
and KIOSK:CBCA databases.
- Documents can be printed using a Champlain copycard.

- Champlain has over 300 active PERIODICALS,
and approximately 600 more available fulltext on CD-ROM and online
via the Internet.
- Here students relax in the periodical reading area.

- The Library is a great place to spend time between classes.
- There is GROUP STUDY SPACE
and individual STUDY CARRELS.

- The main BOOKSTACKS on the
3rd floor contain over 75,000 circulating books.

- The MEDIA CENTRE is located on the
2nd floor of the Library near the photocopiers - room B-215. This is
the circulation point for the photographic & video equipment for
the Creative Arts Program as well as sound equipment & projectors
for use in student presentations.
