Student
Services & Activities
Whether
you are a student, alumnae/i, member of the community or visitor, Champlain
St-Lambert normally has plenty of activities and special events around
campus. We say "normally" because it is the winter holiday period when
most of our students are off for a few weeks of well-deserved rest and
relaxation. After the holidays, check back here often for the latest
events going on at the College. In the meantime, here's a taste of what

New
IB options for Fall 2001
To
mark its tenth anniversary as an International Baccalaureate school,
Champlain St-Lambert is very proud to introduce two new options to its
IB program: · Computer Science & Economics
· Theatre Arts & Psychology
The
new Computer Science & Economics option will provide students
with exceptional preparation for any Bachelor of Arts program, in particular
for majors in Economics or Decisional Sciences. The option will also
prepare students for university admission in Information Technology,
Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration,
Commerce, and Management. Employment forecasts in IT areas indicate
unparalleled growth well into the 21st century.
The
new Theatre Arts & Psychology option is designed to offer students
a dynamic and flexible approach to theatre as a composite art and to
allow students to come to certain insights about both the human mind
and the human condition as they play themselves out on the stage of
daily life. This option will give students a global exposure to the
theatre arts, encourage and nurture individual creative processes, and
teach how to study life. The IB Theatre Arts & Psychology option will
prepare students for admission to most Bachelor of Arts programs, including
Communications, Performing Arts (Theatre), and Psychology.
