ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Champlain St-Lambert offers a Scholarship Program for incoming students. One scholarship valued at $500.00 is awarded in each program to the student with the highest academic average among students with averages of 80% or higher, except in the Liberal Arts program. The Liberal Arts Scholarship is awarded to the student who submits the best essay to the Liberal Arts Essay Competition. The Entrance Scholarships are funded by the Champlain St-Lambert Foundation.

ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONALS AWARD
for high academic achievement in the Commerce program.

ARTHUR G. POTTER III
Scholarship is granted every three years to a graduating student who is an inquiring, innovative scholar with a grade average exceeding 85%.

BIOLOGY PRIZE
for high academic achievement in Biology.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PRIZES
for the highest academic achievement in the Business Administration Program, in Finance and Marketing.

CHAMPLAIN ST-LAMBERT SUPPORT STAFF UNION AWARD
for an outstanding student who has been involved in volunteer work on and off campus, and who has maintained a good overall academic standing.

CHAMPLAIN REGIONAL COLLEGE BOARD OF GOVERNORS MERIT AWARD
for highest overall academic achievement.

CHEMISTRY PRIZES
consist of two separate nominations for high academic achievement in Chemistry.

COMPUTER SCIENCE PRIZE
for excellence in the Computer Science Program.

CREATIVE ARTS COMPUTER IMAGING PRIZE
for outstanding ability in computer imaging.

CREATIVE ARTS FILM AND VIDEO PRIZE
for outstanding ability in film and video production.

CREATIVE ARTS PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE
for outstanding ability in photography.

DEAN CHESHIRE MEMORIAL AWARD FOR FINE ARTS
for excellence in the Fine Arts program.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES PRIZE
for excellence in Environmental Studies Certification Option.

GEORGE ROWELL MEMORIAL AWARD
for excellence in Economics and Third World Studies.

GOVERNOR GENERAL'S MEDAL
for highest overall academic achievement.

HUMAN SCIENCES PRIZES
consist of three separate nominations granted for high academic achievement in Anthropology, Sociology and Philosophy/Religion.

HUMANITIES PRIZES
consist of two separate nominations for high academic achievement in Humanities.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE PRIZE
consists of two separate nominations for high academic achievement in the IB program.

JOY SMITH ATHLETIC MERIT AWARD
for an outstanding member of the intercollegiate athletic program who has maintained an above average academic record.

LIBERAL ARTS PRIZE
for high academic achievement in the Option.

MARGERY LANGSHUR AWARD
for high academic achievement in English.

MATHEMATICS PRIZE
for high academic achievement in Mathematics.

MODERN LANGUAGE PRIZES
consist of two separate nominations for high academic achievement in languages.

OFFICE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY PRIZE
for excellence in the Office Systems Technology Program.

PETER SWARBRICK MEMORIAL AWARD
for excellence in creative writing, journalism and public speaking.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION PRIZE
for high academic achievement in Physical Education.

PHYSICS PRIZE
for high academic achievement in Physics.

PSYCHOLOGY PRIZE
for high academic achievement in Psychology.

SOCIAL SCIENCE PROGRAM PRIZES
consists of two separate nominations granted for high academic achievement in Social Science and Commerce.

SOCIAL SCIENCE CERTIFICATES OF MERIT
consists of seven separate nominations granted for high academic achievement in Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and World Studies.

STUDENT LIFE PRIZE
for significant contribution to the quality of student life on campus while maintaining an above average academic record.

TOURISM PRIZE
for excellence in the Tourism program.

WORLD STUDIES PRIZE
for excellence in World Studies Certification Option.
