Requirements
ADMISSION
The basic entrance requirement for all students applying to Champlain
St-Lambert is the Quebec Diploma of Secondary Studies for Cegep
Entrance. This includes Math 514 or 436 or 426, Physical Science
416 and History 414 in addition to the basic diploma requirements.

at the Secondary V level. Applicants must also complete the prerequisites
for the program of their choice (See Specific Program Information).
OUT
OF PROVINCE APPLICANTS
As of the Fall 2000 semester, new students who are not deemed
residents of Québec are required by the Ministry of Education
to pay additional fees of $800.00 per semester. Non-Québec residents
who were enrolled in a Cégep during the 1999-2000 year are covered
by a "grandfather clause" and are not required to pay these fees
as long as they do not change colleges or programs. Students who
can provide a birth certificate from the Province of Québec are
deemed to be residents of Québec for purposes of this regulation.
No further documentation is required. Students who were not born
in Québec will be required to present proof of Québec residence
in order to be exempt from paying the fees. Information about
the type of proof required may be obtained by calling the Admissions
Office at (450) 672-6240. Students from provinces other than Quebec
are normally required to present a high school leaving diploma
equivalent to the Quebec Diploma of Secondary Studies for Cegep
Entrance.

be considered for admission providing they possess a secondary
school background which is equivalent to the Quebec Diploma of
Secondary Studies for Cegep Entrance. Foreign Students, if accepted,
are required to pay tuition fees of $7200.00 per academic year/$3600
per semester. Part-time student pay $17.50 per course hour. (Fees

be applied for from the "Ministère des communautés culturelles
et de l'immigration" of the province of Québec.

approximately $400.00 per year.
